Child and Family Services provides specialized out-patient treatment for children, adolescents and their families. Our staff consists of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals in psychology, social work, child and youth work, and psychiatry.
York Central Hospital offers Child and Family Services with two specialized clinics. These are:
1) Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder Clinic (ADHD)
2) Child and Adolescent Anxiety Clinic
Child and Family Services provides assessment and treatment for children and adolescent with significant symptoms of:
Anxiety disorders
Mood disorders
Psychotic disorders
ADHD
** ADHD patients are accepted for assessment and medication consultations only through the ADHD Assessment and Medication Stabilization Clinic. For therapy services, clients must have concurrent depression or anxiety.
