Crossroads Children`s Centre is an accredited children’s mental health treatment centre serving youth with serious behavioural or emotional difficulties. Sees children up to age 12, and their families. Provides three core services: Day Treatment, Community Based Family Services, and the Grimes Family Skills Strengthening Program, a two-year pilot project. Crossroads’ programs involve an individualized treatment plan, which is developed in partnership with the parents and child. This may include a wide range of services such as parent support and skills training, crisis intervention, family and individual therapy, anger management, parent-effectiveness training, groups for children who have witnessed violence, and so forth.

The Walk-in Clinic at Crossroads helps families to get started on the road to understanding.
Do you have any concerns about your child`s behaviour, emotional state, mental health diagnosis (e.g. anxiety, depression, ADHD), school-related issues, your child’s struggles with peers, a family conflict, or any other issues?
Through a single counselling session, our experienced, professional staff help identify issues and equip families with tools and strategies to address their concerns. The focus of the session is determined by each family’s unique needs.
