Victoria House Private practice

Our adult support group home located in Smiths Falls across from beautiful Victoria Park and the Rideau Canal, within walking distance to all amenities. Victoria House is an ideal home for adults (18+) who want to live independently (no curfew, can come and go as they please) but who need help with their day-to-day activities and who benefit from group living as a means to avoid loneliness and/or isolation. Caring staff provide three meals a day, snacks, administer mediation, common area housekeeping and support residents with their day-to-day. Room and board includes housing, meals, HD cable tv, local phone, washer and dryer use of all common areas in the home.
We offer a safe, clean home to those with developmental or intellectual disabilities, dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, and those living with loneliness and/or isolation. Personal support (i.e. bathing, dressing) are provided through third-party organizations.
Room and board rates (through domiciliary hostel program) are
subsidized by Lanark County. Individuals on ODSP, OAS and CPP
disability are eligible for full room and board coverage plus a
Personal Needs Allowance of $146/month to purchase personal items.
