Assists Aboriginal people migrating to or already living in the City of Greater Sudbury. The Friendship Centre has developed and implemented programs and activities that serve the social, cultural and recreational needs of the urban Aboriginal community. Lifeskills workshops may be scheduled dependent upon demand of clients served. All programs reflect cultural identity through traditional teachings and ceremonies, utilizing Elders from local First Nations surrounding the City of Greater Sudbury.

This Program is to improve the quality of life for urban Aboriginal youth by promoting and implementing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects into the programming. Providing activities with these four aspects helps Aboriginal youth achieve wellness and balance in a supportive and fun environment. The program also provides school suspension support for Aboriginal children youth.
The goal is to improve the quality of life for urban Aboriginal children by promoting optimum physical, cognitive, communicative and social development skills for at risk Aboriginal children 0 to 6 years of age.
This program provides support skills and visioning opportunities for Aboriginal youth. The primary focus is to encourage youth to take a holistic approach to life planning and preparation. The program also provides school suspension support for Aboriginal children youth.
This program assists Aboriginal people in addressing alcohol and drug issues and preventing / minimizing the negative effects of addictive substances in the Aboriginal individual, family and community. If required, assessment and treatment planning and community treament is available with a counsellor.
This program`s goal is to ensure that the needs of the Aboriginal community are addressed by implementing the Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Strategy at the local level in order to reduce family violence, promote healthy lifestyles and provide culture based programming.
